The Accreditation Unit of the Jordanian Accreditation and Standardization System (JAS-AU) has received international recognition from the International Laboratory Accreditation cooperation (ILAC).
All certificates of accreditation issued by the Accreditation Unit (JAS-AU) for testing laboratories, calibration laboratories and medical laboratories are now recognized and accepted worldwide as a result of receiving recognition from Arab Accreditation cooperation (ARAC) at the beginning of 2017 and then having the Arab Accreditation cooperation (ARAC) admission to International Laboratory Accreditation cooperation (ILAC) on Saturday, 28-10-2017 during the meetings of the relevant committees in Vancouver, Canada.
This important achievement for preserving the country’s resources, upgrading the infrastructure of quality, facilitating exports and protecting the health and safety of the Jordanian citizen has come after years of hard work and continuous efforts of assessors , technical experts, members of the technical committees.
Therefore, the accreditation unit congratulates and thanks all those who contributed to achieving this great national achievement, hoping to continue cooperation and efforts during the coming periods to maintain this great achievement.
